Employment

• Complete PDI process as required on New Polaris ORV products, GEM Electric vehicles.
• Install accessories on Polaris units
• May perform maintenance and/or repair on any product sold by the dealership
• Repairs and overhauls Powersports vehicles
• In-field pick up and deliveries
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision and direction
• Operates in compliance with all health and safety policies and procedures
• Any other duties deemed necessary for the overall success of the department and dealership as a whole.
• Must be able to maintain a positive working relationship with all employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Welcome delivery trucks immediately upon arrival and assist in unloading and checking of shipments for accuracy
•  Receive shipments and check in according to prescribed company practices
• Notify customer of receipt of special orders by phone, text or email
• Accommodate and carefully handle fragile merchandise throughout inventory periods
• Track and document exact shipment arrival and departure times
• Properly tag and label merchandise 
• Assist with ensuring that areas of the parts department are properly stocked and organized.
• Assist with ensuring that the cleanliness and appearance of the parts department is professionally managed and addressed daily
• Box, wrap and pack merchandise in accordance with set procedures and standards
• Record and quickly report all impaired, short shipped or damaged merchandise items
• Safely operate machinery related to parts inventory management (i.e. forklift, motor vehicles)
• Properly perform data entry in company inventory and logistics software program (Light Speed)
•  Assist with conducting periodic inventory audits
• Assist with marketing parts, accessories, and apparel, to internal service support staff and all external customers. To include over the counter, through the shop, on the phone, or online sales by helping with the selection of required parts in a friendly, professional and efficient manner

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid Driver’s License
• Forklift Operation Certification will be provided if necessary
• Previous working experience in parts warehousing and sales environment
• Demonstratable experience with inventory and logistics software programs in related business setting
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, walk around warehouse with ease, and tolerance of seasonal changes in temperatures while working inside and outside
• A Background that includes organizational and time-management skills
• Customer facing, or on telephone handling skill sets
